A very clean park....I think. During the 5 days we were there, the pool was shut down by the Health Dept. for two days!! Nothing was said by employees....makes a person wonder, though. Wifi.....well, for the price of the cg site, wifi needs to be included....not another $7.99 for each 24 hours. The sites are sooooo close that I could not even walk between my slide-outs and the slide-outs of the motor home in the next site......I couldn't even get my emergency window opened or it would have hit the motor home. Positive: closeness to the Strip and good access to the Casino of Sams Town. Employees were rude each time I was in the office......very little help from the office staff. Not very happy with this 5 day stay here!
Excellent access to I-25 and a beautiful view of Santa Fe and the surrounding mountains. The main building is just outstanding with the cleanest and largest rest rooms/showers that I have seen in 30 years of RVing. Very friendly staff....thank you. However, the sites are just not laid out well, the landscaping leaves a lot to be desired, and as to the "weed" mentioned in other reviews, I must agree. It leaves the entire park very unattractive, even with the lovely main building and entrance. Much more work needs to be done to make the rig sites more attractive and inviting. Keep at it SF Skies and it will only get better for you. Wifi was excellent where I had my rig, in front of the main building. We will return and hope they have improved the camping sites, please.
What a pleasant surprise this rv park is!! We made reservations using Passport America and upon arriving we were welcomed so warmly and quickly assigned our site. As a Passport America member we can only have electricity and water, but there is nicely arranged dump station. The sites here are pull-through, very spacious, with the widest streets I have encountered in an rv park. I highly recommend this rv park to all who are passing this way on I-40 between Flagstaff and Winslow. A great place to overnight.
We stayed here because of the location to the city center of San Antonio. There is city bus that stops in front of the gate to the rv park and goes downtown to the Alamo/Riverwalk area in only 10 minutes for $1.00 per person.....a very good reason for camping here!! The pull through sites are easy in and out....the entrance to the park is easy in/easy out, and the access to the major interstates is very good. Sites are fairly well maintained....they need more gravel but they do have a nice concrete patio pad. We would definitely stay at this campground again!
As I was in Grain Valley for some rv repairs at Nationwide RV, I needed to stay overnight and I selected this cg. I was very, very disappointed as the sites are NOT level, very close together, and difficult to pull a long rig into. To access the wifi, you must sit in their reception area...not an ideal situation for paying bills, etc. Many rv's being used full time with large propane tanks attached, skirts around the bottoms of the rvs, and plumbing hookups insulated. This is not a cg...but it IS a trailer park. I would not recommend this place!
